Effective MLM Team Concept

MLM team building ensures your residual income. At the same time, developing a team will also provide fulfillment and a sense of accomplishment. Follow these five tips to build an unstoppable team that will reach their goals and help you to reach yours.

1) Recruit the right people

Many people who recruit distributors act as though they’re desperate to sign up anyone who says “yes.” Your job, by contrast, is to be selective about who you invite to join your team. Ask them how much cash they have to invest, how much MLM experience they have, how much time they have to dedicate and how committed they are to being successful. If you get an initial investment from someone who does not have the qualities to succeed, then you will never build your own residual income.

2) Assist them as they start their business

Remind people to regularly purchase product so that they always have inventory on-hand. Also, make sure that your members have prospects and that they know how to close sales. See that they have marketing materials, and make sure that they have an efficient way to track their leads. Investing the time to make sure that team members have the tools that they need will ensure that your downline business remains active and thriving.

3) Hold them accountable for their success

Actively call team members and follow up on their performance. Ask what they have done since they signed up, how much time they are spending on the business, whether they have purchased marketing materials and what they are doing to ensure their prospects. On the one hand, you are helping to secure your own income by helping your team to perform. On the other hand, you are helping your team members to meet their own goals.

4) Motivate them during down times

Part of MLM team building includes motivating your team members when business is sluggish. Sometimes, although people are doing all that they can, their business grows stagnant. Take the time to offer encouragement during rough patches. Express confidence in your team’s ability to achieve its objectives.

5) Give them realistic expectations

An MLM requires hard work and dedication. Let your team members know that they should invest at least 10 hours per week in the business, and let them know that they will have to make an ongoing monthly financial investment in product and promotional materials. Additionally, let your team know that making money in an MLM generally doesn’t happen for about six months and that real money takes even longer. Your downline will respect your wisdom and honesty, and they’ll be more likely to stick with the business for the long term.

Leadership Qualities that Anyone Can Develop

True Leadership Qualities Stand Out

According to the Center for Public Leadership at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government, 80 percent of Americans believe that the United States faces a leadership crisis. Many people in leadership positions think that the right response is to become a “transactional leader.” They say, “I have money, you have labor, so let’s make an exchange.” Instead, according to The Harvard Business Review, our focus should be on becoming a “transformational leader.”

Transformational leadership qualities challenge people to grow professionally. In addition, transformational leaders challenge their colleagues to grow personally, emotionally and intellectually. Transformational leaders see four basic needs in people, and they work to meet those needs. In so doing, they help people to become more passionate, engaged and effective.

1) The need for tough-minded caring

Truly caring about your team and having them care about you may sound touchy-feely, but caring is essential to good leadership. Tough-minded caring builds a powerful, fully expressed workforce. When you truly care about people, you don’t let them remain ineffective or stagnant. You challenge them to become more than they are so that they can be truly successful. You call them to take tough actions and let them know that you are confident that they can succeed. When your team knows that you have their best interests in mind but aren’t afraid to call them on their mistakes, then you will win their respect and their admiration.

2) The need to grow

Effective leaders empower people to decide to become more than they are. Motionlessness and maintenance only exist in the human imagination. The alternative to not growing is to wither and decay. Therefore, the best leaders create an environment where their teams are constantly challenged to grow. Good leaders put the responsibility for change squarely on the team members’ shoulders. As a result, team members make the decision to extend themselves. When the choice comes from within, genuine growth takes place.

3) The need to contribute

People at their best forget about themselves and think instead of how they can contribute for the sake of the team. Instead of recruiting new team members to get the company’s shiny prize Camaro, they motivate themselves by thinking of how they can bring others along in the wake of their success. The best leaders always motivate people to act with the team in mind. When everyone contributes, everyone succeeds.

4) The need for meaning

People need to feel as though their personal and professional actions have a purpose. To feel as though they are a part of something greater gives people a sense of meaning and usefulness. Great leaders help people to see how their contributions matter. When people feel that their actions are significant, they are more likely to strive for excellence.

A successful MLM business owner enriches not only himself or herself but also the lives of everyone on the team. These actions will have recognizable significance. Good leadership qualities will build a successful business. More importantly, they will build a meaningful life.

6 Tips to Improve Your Self Esteem

HiRes 213x300 6 Tips to Improve Your Self Esteem

Your Positive Self Esteem Can Take You To The Top!

World-renowned psychologist and author Dr. Nathaniel Branden writes that knowing how to improve your self esteem results from achieving two important goals. First, acquire the skills to handle life’s challenges. Second, believe that you deserve success and happiness. While your friends, family or partner can help to nurture your self-esteem, feeling good about yourself ultimately depends on the actions that you take. These actions make up Dr. Branden’s six “pillars” of self-esteem and serve as keys for building your feelings of self-worth.

1) Live consciously

Cultivating self-esteem means living with awareness. Become aware of your priorities, your interactions and even your deepest insecurities. To gain self-respect, you must acknowledge the truth about what your actions say regarding both your personality and your character. Whether you feel proud or troubled when you shine a light on your actions, you need to face the truth of who you truly are.

2) Accept yourself

Don’t be afraid of either your bright side or your dark side. You may not be as charismatic as other leaders. You may not be a natural salesperson. Instead of worrying about what you aren’t, embrace what you are. There are plenty of people who will be drawn to who you inherently are.

3) Take responsibility

You are the chief causal agent in both your life and your behavior. As you appraise yourself honestly, you may see things that you have the power to change. You may not be naturally charismatic, for instance, but you can still improve your communications skills if you take responsibility for your own growth. As you empower yourself to become a better person, your feelings of self-worth will increase.

4) Be assertive

Having self-esteem means believing that you deserve success and happiness. Success and happiness, however, don’t happen without appropriate action. You have to work to achieve success in life, and you have to prioritize the things that make you happy. You also have to act upon your innermost convictions instead of shying away from them.

5) Live with purpose

Consider the things that you want to accomplish and take the steps needed to achieve your goals. As you purposefully work toward those accomplishments, you will build your ability to meet life’s challenges. When you know you have what it takes to handle life’s curveballs, then you will inherently have self-confidence.

6) Live with integrity

When your actions convey your ideals, convictions and beliefs, you will know that you have integrity. Let your words match your behavior in every situation. When you live with integrity, you will inevitably have a greater respect for yourself. Make sure that your actions match up with your values.

True self-esteem isn’t a one-size-fits-all formula. Knowing yourself, liking yourself and living according to your values matters more than any glitzy prescription for positive self-talk. Being the best that you can be with the tools that you have is the key to how to improve your self esteem. You can always work on your weaknesses, but don’t forget to appreciate your strengths.

What is MLM and What Will it Do For You?

Lead Your Powerful MLM Team

You may have chosen to investigate what is MLM for multiple reasons. For example, you may want to take on a part-time opportunity that will deliver you with some extra income. Or you may ultimately have ambitions to quit a nine-to-five corporate job and become your own boss. If you’ve always wanted to own your own business, and you’re willing to work hard, then you may find success with MLM. If you aren’t independent enough to work on your own, you aren’t self-motivated and you want to get rich quickly, then it may be best to find something else to do with your time.

What is MLM (Multi-Level marketing)?

MLM, or multi-level marketing, involves both direct sales and team building. At the heart of your business is a product, and you should choose that product carefully. Choose something that you are motivated to sell, whether that product is silver coins or skin care cream. Also, make sure that you choose a high-quality product to represent so that you can build trust with your customers.

In addition to selling a product, you will be working to create a sales team for your product. Most MLM businesses have a compensation structure set up to reward you for the number of people that you recruit into the business. You will continue to receive residual income based on a percentage of the revenue that they generate. While you will work hard initially to develop your downline, you will eventually become more able to live off of the passive income generated by motivated people.

When you recruit an enthusiastic distributor into your downline, you will enjoy a percentage of that distributor’s sales as well as the sales of that distributor’s downline. In that sense, MLM is very much about forming relationships and helping to keep one another motivated. If you do build a motivated and productive downline, then you will be able to kick back and enjoy the fruits of your labor. However, you will have to work very hard to get to the point of generating significant residual income. Many people fail to understand this reality.

What Will it Do For You?

If you choose a good business, then you can enjoy the rewards offered by its compensation structure. MLM is full of legendary stories about people who have earned a six-figure income and a shiny new car, and those dreams certainly can come true. However, to receive true satisfaction from your MLM experience, you should think of MLM in terms of how MLM will change your life.

First, understanding what is MLM will help you to discover your personal brand. You will unearth the unique characteristics that you bring to the market, and you will learn how to sell your skills and experience. Second, you will meet dynamic people who sell successfully and with integrity. You will learn the art of creating your own success by watching other people who have done so for themselves, and you will reap significant rewards if you are willing to do the work.
